Ontario Northland Bus and Train
Ontario Northland Motor Coach (Bus) Service provides passenger and cargo services. Northbound or Southbound, Ontario Northland is ready to deliver you to your destination. Our Motor Coach Services operates a fleet of highway motor coaches that provide scheduled service between Toronto and Hearst, along the Highway 11 corridor which passes through North Bay and Cochrane, and along the Highway 69 corridor, which passes through Sudbury and Timmins. Our scheduled bus service is an affordable and reliable way to travel to and from north-eastern Ontario.
Ontario Northland Rail Service provides freight and connecting passenger service. Our passenger trains provide a comfortable and reliable transportation option for people travelling between Moosonee and Toronto, and various points along the way! We also service industries in our region, and across the continent, by offering freight transportation services throughout our 700-mile track system in north-eastern Ontario and north-western Quebec.
Ontario Northland's Polar Bear Express connects residents of the coastal communities of Moosonee and Moose Factory to Cochrane and is one of North America's remaining "flag stop" train services. This old-fashioned rail excursion travels 186 miles between Cochrane and Moosonee, including over the Moose River through Ontario's most pristine and spectacular scenery. You are invited to sit back and enjoy the relaxing five hour train ride (each way) in one of our climate-controlled passenger cars.
