Porcupine Health Unit

The Porcupine Health Unit is a public health unit serving Cochrane District and the Town of Hornepayne in Ontario, Canada. The head office is located in Timmins, Ontario. There are eight branch offices located throughout the district of Cochrane and in Hornepayne within the district of Algoma. The Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) is an organization that works with communities in our area to promote and protect health.

Together they are committed to understanding our health and safety and their determinants, as well as provide a variety of relevant, responsive and effective programs that will improve and protect our health.

Public Health Services are available through the Porcupine Health Unit which provides free active universal clinics, available by appointment, for services such as immunization and sexual health.
