Timmins Public Library
The Timmins Public Library, established in 1921, consists of the main library at 320 Second Avenue and the C.M. Shields branch library at 99 Bloor Avenue in South Porcupine.
Services available to the public at no charge include:
- Membership
- Lending of books, magazines, videos, sound recordings on CD, language courses on cassette, large print audio books, and inter-library loans
- Internet access
- Reference collections, government publications, local history and genealogy, and databases
Fee-Based Services include:
- Photocopying and faxing service
- Special service for ordering books
- AV equipment rental
- Board room rental
