Timmins and District Hospital (T&DH) is dedicated to providing health care services that are consistent with the needs of our community. Timmins and District Hospital is a leader in patient care delivery, health services enhancement and health system integration in North-eastern Ontario. They are the Level C referral hospital serving the residents of the City of Timmins and Cochrane District, as well as the adjoining areas of the Temiskaming, Sudbury and Algoma districts.
Timmins and District Hospital offers a full range of medical, surgical, critical care, maternity, newborn, pediatric, long-term care and mental health services, as well as extensive community education and district services. T&DH is committed to making every patient's visit a caring experience.
Within available resources they will do the following:
- Promote and provide accessible, high quality health care in both official languages that meets the health needs of our referral communities and Aboriginal peoples.
- Lead the provision of clinical services and the advancement of related health technology.
- Lead and partner in the development of an integrated North-eastern health system.
- Partner actively in learning, teaching, research and service provisions
